Hey, I’m Matt. I’m a 32-year-old fitness and nutrition coach, longtime lifter and foodie at heart.
With over 15 years of training experience under my belt, I’ve learned what works and what doesn’t – especially for busy, hardworking people who want results while balancing real life.
My journey into this industry didn’t start with a perfect plan. It started with many setbacks and a lot of trial and error. I spent the best part of a decade on the typical rollercoaster of yo-yo diets, trying every new fad from Atkins to paleo, carnivore to keto and anything else you can think of!
In my mid-twenties I started paying attention to evidence-based nutrition and training. That’s when I discovered that the key to progression was forming simple, sustainable habits rather than making extreme changes. My interest grew into passion and soon I found myself filling any spare time with podcasts, videos or books around the subjects.
Since then I have completed my Certificate IV in Nutrition, Health and Wellness Coaching with Vast Fitness Academy and I went on to build New Chapter Coaching for people exactly like me: driven but imperfect.
